Preview: LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls vs. Clewiston Tigers

LaBelle has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Clewiston Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. LaBelle is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

LaBelle has not done well against Sebring recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. LaBelle sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Sebring.

Marissa Burchard was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, a triple, and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Carli Spencer, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Clewiston was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 11-1 walloping at the hands of Cardinal Newman.

Clewiston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Imani Greaves, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Greaves hasn't dropped below two stolen bases for three straight games.

LaBelle's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Clewiston, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
