Henry Uti leads a balanced attack to beat Ozanam

Even though Ozanam scored an imposing 62 points on Monday, Frontier School of Excellence still came out on top. Frontier School of Excellence came out on top in a nail-biter against Ozanam and snuck past 65-62. That's two games straight that Frontier School of Excellence has won by exactly three points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frontier School of Excellence to victory, but perhaps none more so than Henry Uti, who scored 19 points. Uti has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last four times he's played. Abdi Dahir was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why Ozanam lost, one person who can't be blamed is Talan Olmstead. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Olmstead is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was A.W. Poke, who scored 12 points along with three steals.

Frontier School of Excellence has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Ozanam, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11.

Frontier School of Excellence will square off against Midland Adventist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in their respective states (Midland Adventist Academy is ranked 362nd in Kansas, while Frontier School of Excellence is ranked 376th in Missouri). As for Ozanam, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Training Center Christian at 12:00 p.m. on February 6th. Training Center Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 245 points over their last four matchups.
