Football Game Preview: Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton vs. Monadnock

Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Saturday they take on Monadnock at 1:30 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton skips in on three wins and Monadnock on five.

Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton were able to grind out a solid victory over Lebanon last Friday, winning 14-7.

Meanwhile, Monadnock got themselves on the board against Newport, but Newport never followed suit. Monadnock blew past Newport 24-0. Followers of Monadnock probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.

Their wins bumped Monadnock to 5-0 and Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton to 4-1. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
