Las Lomas and Northgate are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Knights will host the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Las Lomas' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Foothill hit Northgate with a eight-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Broncos came up short against the Falcons, falling 12-6. The Broncos have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Robert Jurado was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Andres Zaragoza Roberts, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Las Lomas' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Northgate, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
