Basketball Recap: Sanderson Takes a Loss

If Sanderson was feeling good fresh off their 55-35 takedown of Dell City on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sanderson Eagles took a blow against the Immanuel Christian Warriors on Friday, falling 70-39.

Sanderson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Immanuel Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.

Sanderson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Marfa at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Marfa has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Immanuel Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Fabens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
