Lexington had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Norwalk Truckers by a score of 2-0. The Minutemen were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Truckers, so the Minutemen were just returning the favor.

While Lexington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20.

Ava Brown paced Lexington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brown got some help from Bella Temple and her 17 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Norwalk, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Lexington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Columbian on the 6th. As for Norwalk, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Perkins on the 7th.
