Football Recap: Lake Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lake Forest was the 38-7 winner over Warren Township when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Scouts lost to the Blue Devils on the road by a 22-6 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Scouts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 15th).

Aaron Stewart was nothing short of spectacular for Warren Township: he rushed for 210 yards and three scores. Stewart's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 113 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Lake Forest now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Warren Township, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
