Softball Recap: New Brighton Takes a Loss

New Brighton managed to slip by Quaker Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 11-2 to the Quakers on Monday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Quakers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Sundi Fazio was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

New Brighton has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Quaker Valley, their record now sits at 5-8.

New Brighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Quaker Valley, they will take on Moon Area at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
