Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Allegheny). Everything went their way against the Peters Township Indians on Friday as they made off with an 11-5 win. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Ben Wilcox looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, North Allegheny let Sean O'Donnell and Mason Smith run wild. O'Donnell went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs, while Smith went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two runs gave O'Donnell a new career-high. August Maslo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

North Allegheny's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Peters Township, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.
