Soccer Game Preview: Georgetown vs. Aynor

Georgetown will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals last Wednesday, then bounced right back against Marlboro County on Tuesday. Georgetown's defense stepped up to hand Marlboro County a 10-0 shutout. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Georgetown yet this season.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Aynor and Dillon, and Aynor kept the tradition alive. The Blue Jackets walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Wildcats on Tuesday. Aynor better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Quinn Hackmer, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Aynor used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Dillon. Three players hit the pitch for the first time this season: Nate Gilreath, Hackmer, and Jacob West. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Gilreath put up one assist, while he scored four goals.
