Softball Game Preview: Meadowbrook Monarchs vs. Colonial Heights Colonials

Meadowbrook hasn't had much luck against Colonial Heights recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Monarchs will be playing at home against the Colonials at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meadowbrook is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 26th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Dinwiddie.

Colonial Heights might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-5 to Nottoway, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Colonials have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
