Monsignor Donovan extended the longest winning streak in Shore - South B this week by beating Pinelands Regional, 42-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Lakewood moved up to 130 from 156 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Piners were able to make the jump by topping Liberty 19-0.

5-foot-11 quarterback Ricky Gerena of Barnegat is the league leader in passing yards this season with 468. He has also thrown four touchdowns. On the ground, Point Pleasant Boro's Ryan Prout has rushed for 353 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kyle McGarry. The Point Pleasant Boro star has eight catches for 194 yards.

A big matchup in Shore - South B this week will be when the Panthers take on the Bengals. Point Pleasant Boro is in third place, while Barnegat is in fifth place.

There should be lots of points scored when the Panthers and Rob Davis' team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Point Pleasant Boro comes in having scored 130 this season, while the Bengals have scored 78. The Panthers scored 21 points last week as they topped Manchester Township.

Lakewood made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,779 from 5,900. The advance stemmed from a 19-0 victory over the Lions last week.
