            Baseball Recap: Excel Academy Charter Wolves vs. O'Bryant Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Excel Academy Charter extended their losing streak  to six  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 2-8 in the process. They came up short against  the O'Bryant Tigers, falling  12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  15-5  back in April.
As for O'Bryant, they moved to 5-7 with that  victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by nine  runs or more this season.
For O'Bryant's part,  Kai Hosokawa made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Hosokawa was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Jaelan Villar looked comfortable as he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 Back at the plate,  Hanleix Santana Perez was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.  Anderson Sweeney was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with four  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Excel Academy Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for O'Bryant, they will face off against Nantucket at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
