Harrison County won the last time they faced Augusta and things went their way on Monday too. The Thorobreds/Fillies put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Thorobreds/Fillies, who have now won 21 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Harrison County got a massive performance out of Jashon Lewis, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Brian Vaughn, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Harrison County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Augusta only posted an OBP of .350.

The win was the fourth in a row for Harrison County, bringing their record up to 32-5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Augusta, they dropped their record down to 13-12 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
