Basketball Recap: Miles Takes a Loss

Miles suffered their closest loss since December 29, 2025 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Ballinger Bearcats by a score of 47-45. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bearcats earlier this season, when they won 27-26.

Miles has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Ballinger, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Coincidentally, Miles and Ballinger will both be playing Winters the next time they take the court. The Bearcats will head out to face the Blizzards at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
