Football Recap: Platte/Geddes Takes a Loss

If Platte/Geddes was feeling good fresh off their 64-28 takedown of Lyman last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Panthers were dealt a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Parkston Trojans on Friday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Black Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Platte/Geddes fell to 6-1. As for Parkston, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Platte/Geddes will face off against rival Bon Homme at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Parkston is set to take on their familiar foe Wolsey-Wessington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
