Buford took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Chesterfield as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Buford's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Parkwood unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to West Stanly. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolf Pack have suffered since September 2nd.
