Soccer Recap: Oak Ridge Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Oak Ridge was not quite Whitney's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Whitney Wildcats by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by just one goal.

Oak Ridge now has a losing record at 4-5-3. As for Whitney, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3-6.

Oak Ridge has already played their next contest (against Del Oro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Whitney will head out on the road to face off against Davis Sr. at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis Sr. will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Whitney surely won't give up without a fight.
