Luke Howery posted a new career-high in steals on Friday. He went 10-for-16 on his way to 25 points in addition to eight assists, six rebounds, and five steals. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points.

Looking ahead, Howery and Chaparral won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Grandview at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Howery hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 25.2 per game this season), but he'll have his work cut out for him against a dominant the Wolves defense that's only given up 38.6 points per game.
