Soccer Recap: Calvary Day School Takes a Loss

Calvary Day School managed to slip by Westchester Country Day the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 5-1 to the Wildcats on Friday. Calvary Day School's loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabriel Freitas, who's now up to two this season.

Calvary Day School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Westchester Country Day, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Calvary Day School will host Hickory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Day School will be up against Hickory Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Westchester Country Day, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Salem Christian School on the 25th.
