Basketball Recap: Proviso West's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Proviso West entered their game against Glenbard West on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Proviso West Panthers lost 49-25 to the Glenbard West Hilltoppers. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Proviso West's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-5. As for Glenbard West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Proviso West will take on Proviso East in a holiday battle at at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Glenbard West, they will be taking part in a tournament against Grayslake Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Grayslake Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
