Soccer Recap: Pueblo West Has No Trouble Against Battle Mountain

The Pueblo West Cyclones made easy work of the Battle Mountain Huskies on Saturday and carried off a 5-1 win. It was an even better day for Jocelyn Thompson as she scored three goals for her team.

Pueblo West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for Battle Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-3.

Looking ahead, Pueblo West will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. As for Battle Mountain, they will head out on the road to square off against Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
