Baseball Recap: ConVal Gets the Win

ConVal took an 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Bow, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons on Monday, sneaking past 6-5. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by just one run.

The victory made it two in a row for ConVal and bumps their season record up to 7-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Bow, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, ConVal will welcome Souhegan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sabers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bow, they will challenge Kennett at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
