There's no place like home for Carlisle, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Horatio Lions  5-4 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  11-7  back in March.
 Carlisle's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Adrianna Motton, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double. That  double was  Motton's first of the season.  Chloe Smith was another,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Carlisle has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Horatio, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Coming up, Carlisle will square off against Hazen at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Horatio, they will host Caddo Hills  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
