Volleyball Recap: Huntington Gets the Win

Huntington saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against the Cross Roads Bobcats by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Jaycee Tubbs paced Huntington's offense, picking up eight kills. Tubbs got some help from Mylie Martinez and her 11 assists. Martinez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Huntington's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Cross Roads, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Huntington has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against West Rusk on the 28th. As for Cross Roads, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against New Diana on the 28th.
