Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Mustangs vs. Section Lions

The Southeastern Mustangs will square off against the Section Lions on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Southeastern is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They strolled past Alabama Aerospace and Aviation with points to spare, taking the game 71-54.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Section faced off against Sand Rock on Saturday. Section took down Sand Rock 70-54. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Wildcats are ranked 246th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southeastern now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Section, their victory bumped their record up to 22-8.
