Baseball Recap: Penncrest Takes a Loss

Penncrest suffered their biggest loss since April 18, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 10-2 to Shipley. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Penncrest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Murphy, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Penncrest's record now sits at 2-4. As for Shipley, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Penncrest will square off against Ridley at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Shipley, they will take on Germantown Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Shipley's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
