Basketball Game Preview: Swink Lions vs. Cheraw Wolverines

Having just played yesterday, the Swink Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Cheraw Wolverines at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Swink came up short against Fowler and fell 53-42. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 110th).

Meanwhile, Cheraw waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 51-36.

Swink's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cheraw, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Swink came out on top in a nail-biter against Cheraw in their previous meeting back in December of 2015, sneaking past 47-44. Does Swink have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cheraw turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
