Baseball Recap: Wister Takes a Loss

After flying high against Whitesboro on Saturday, Wister came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell 7-2 to the Lindsay Leopards on Monday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Leopards apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Wister has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Lindsay, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Wister has already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Duncan on the 17th. As for Lindsay, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-5 defeat against Wright City on the 16th.
