Softball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown lost against Clermont Northeastern back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The G-Men came up short against the Rockets, falling 16-3. The G-Men just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Georgetown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Inlow, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those hits were Inlow's first of the season.

Georgetown's record is now 1-6. As for Clermont Northeastern, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Georgetown and Clermont Northeastern will both be playing Williamsburg the next time they take the field. The G-Men will head out to face the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rockets will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
