Forrest won the last time they faced Cannon County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rockets blew past the Lions 7-1. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Forrest is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Cannon County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coming up, Forrest will be taking part in a tournament against Boyd-Buchanan at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cannon County, they will square off against Smith County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
