Softball Recap: Southwest Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Trinity Christian last Friday, Southwest Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Southwest Christian Academy Lions lost 20-1 to the Arkansas Christian Academy Knights on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 last Monday.

Southwest Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Arkansas Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season.

Southwest Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Arkansas Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on April 8th. Arkansas Christian Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Garrett Memorial Christian at 4:30 p.m. on April 3rd.
