Volleyball Game Preview: Bluffton Bobcats vs. May River Sharks

Bluffton is 2-8 against May River since October of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bluffton took on Colleton County on Tuesday. The Bobcats blew past the Cougars 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-16.

Meanwhile, May River earned a 2-0 win over New Hampstead on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Sharks in their matchups with the Phoenix: they've now won four in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant May River was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7.

May River's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Bluffton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-18.
