Basketball Recap: Oakwood Victorious

Oakwood's tournament run continued when they took on Granite Bay on Friday. The Oakwood Owls escaped with a win against the Granite Bay Grizzlies by the margin of a single free throw, 69-68.

The victory got Oakwood back to even at 6-6. As for Granite Bay, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakwood will take on Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Granite Bay, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
