Centauri put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Ignacio Bobcats to the tune of 74-40. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Centauri's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carson Bagwell led the charge by going 7 for 11 on his way to 17 points along with five boards and three steals. Troy Sowards was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 14 points.

Centauri was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Centauri's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Ignacio, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Centauri has already played their next game, a 58-41 victory against Monte Vista on the 25th. As for Ignacio, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ignacio Bobcats duke it out with the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
