Palos Verdes's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Peninsula Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Sea Kings, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Palos Verdes' victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lyla Benton, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Maddie Gregory was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Palos Verdes hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive contests.

Palos Verdes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Peninsula, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-17.

As of now, neither Palos Verdes nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
