McMichael entered their tilt with Walkertown on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wolfpack a 3-0 shutout. McMichael pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Walkertown, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.
