            Baseball Recap: El Toro Chargers vs. San Clemente Tritons        
        
		
        
        
            El Toro fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against San Clemente  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tritons by a score of  4-3. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Tritons recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
 Anthony Chapuis was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he  tossed nine innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Chapuis wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Nacho Gonzales, who  went 3-for-5 with one  double. Another  was  Kenny Park, who  went 1-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.
El Toro's record now sits at 14-14. As for San Clemente, the  win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 18-9.
 El Toro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Clemente, they are taking a road trip to  take on Dana Hills  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
