Soccer Game Preview: Westside vs. Rutland

Westside hasn't had much luck against Rutland recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Seminoles are taking a road trip to square off against the Hurricanes at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Westside is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game last Friday. They lost 10-0 to Pike County. That's two games in a row now that Westside have lost by exactly ten goals.

Meanwhile, Rutland was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Jackson, falling 6-0.

Rutland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Westside, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Westside's way against Rutland in their previous meeting back in March, as Westside made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seminoles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
