Memphis Rise Academy came out on top against University on Wednesday thanks in part to Darius Gates's efforts. Gates produced his best game of the campaign: he shot 53% from the field en route to 19 points. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Coming up, Gates and Memphis Rise Academy will face off against Trezevant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets haven't beaten the Bears recently, having gone 0-8 since February of 2022.
