Butler is 8-2 against Xenia since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Butler Aviators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Xenia Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Butler took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Piqua 65-41. Given the Aviators' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Indians are ranked 808th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Xenia was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 71-67 to Fairborn. The Buccaneers haven't had much luck with the Skyhawks recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Butler's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Xenia, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Butler beat Xenia 58-47 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will Butler repeat their success, or does Xenia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
