Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Boylston walked away with it. They never let the Bartlett Indians get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
West Boylston's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Bartlett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14.
Looking ahead, West Boylston will face off against Franklin County Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.1, the Eagles 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Bartlett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
