Baseball Recap: Franklin County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Franklin County's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodford County Yellowjackets on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Flyers in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost four in a row.

Franklin County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Ross, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Woodford County, their record is now 11-13.

While Franklin County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
