Basketball Recap: Little Elm Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Little Elm extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Darius Johnson. The Little Elm Lobos strolled past the Coppell Cowboys with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 72-55 thanks in part to Johnson, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high.

Braidon Kellum was another key player, going 7 of 11 en route to 18 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Little Elm has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Coppell, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Little Elm will welcome Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coppell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lewisville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Coppell is facing Lewisville at the right time seeing as Lewisville is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
