Volleyball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilson Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Margaret Tipper was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last seven matches.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Wilson, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-10.

Looking ahead, Rogers will challenge Colbert County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilson, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mars Hill Bible on the 4th.
