Baseball Recap: Arlington Spy Ponders vs. Belmont Marauders
Arlington came out on top against Belmont on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Spy Ponders took their contest against the Marauders 8-4. The win continues a trend for the Spy Ponders in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now won four in a row.

Will Sadowski made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ryan Marshall was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Timmy Badua also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Arlington now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Belmont, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Arlington will head out to challenge Burlington at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belmont, they will venture away from home to take on Wakefield Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
