McCracken County won against St. Mary on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Mustangs beat the Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-1. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on six straight.

McCracken County pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for St. Mary, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McCracken County will square off against Pleasure Ridge Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Mary, they will take on Marshall County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
