Sullivan East had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Cherokee Chiefs 9-2 on Tuesday. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chiefs, too.

Zach Johnson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Johnson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
