Talawanda is 9-1 against Northwest since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Brave will face off against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Talawanda is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Talawanda fell victim to Larue County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 16-0 to the Hawks. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Brave were not able to get on the board.

Talawanda got a good showing from Austin Puckett, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

Meanwhile, Northwest also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Stebbins on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

Talawanda's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Talawanda took their win against Northwest when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Brave since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
