White Bear Lake waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 55-51 W over the Osseo Orioles. While the Bears didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

White Bear Lake has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Osseo, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Bear Lake will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Osseo will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Sartell-St. Stephen at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. One thing working in Sartell-St. Stephen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
